Set above a small antiques/bric a brac shop the apartment has been renovated to a high standard and offers some quirky features such as exposed stonework, beams and high ceilings giving a feeling of space. The centre of this bustling village is just a few steps from the property and nearby traffic free walking and cycling can be enjoyed on the Tarka Trail. This hidden gem offers relaxing surroundings and walks set midway between the wild expanses of Dartmoor and Exmoor and the rugged coastline and sandy beaches of the North and South Devon coast make for an enjoying a day at the seaside. On arrival at the property, you enter into the communal hallway and staircase then through your own front door into an entrance hall, ideal for kicking off shoes and coats. Off the hall is a utility cupboard with washing machine and tumble drier. A bathroom is next with a bath with shower over and WC. A further shower room WC can be found next door, boasting ample space for surfboards and wetsuit storage. The two bedrooms are also on this floor, one king size with Smart TV and a second bedroom with a zip and link twin beds (which can be made into a super king on request) again this room also has a Smart TV. Up a further short flight of stairs leads you to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a comfy corner sofa, Smart TV and electric fire beckon you to relax and the galley style kitchen area has everything you need to cater for your stay with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer. The breakfast bar is a great place to enjoy a coffee from the bespoke coffee machine. An ingenious dining booth has been incorporated to offer a more formal dining area and this affords views out onto the village centre. There is no outside area with the apartment but green spaces are only a short stroll through the village away. Parking is roadside subject to availability, but the village does offer free car park just across from the property.
