Christchurch is an ideal base to explore the Royal Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, it s a pretty village with a village pub and store. Just a short drive from the market town of Coleford, shop local produce or visit the restaurants and tapas bar. From your door, you are served with access to the countryside and woodlands, plus Symonds Yat Rock is a short drive and just a little further are the banks of the River Wye. For the more adventurous, there is caving, abseiling and canoeing available from Symonds Yat, and a high wire rope course from Mallards Pike. Bike hire is available with trails that will take you deep into the forest. Visit Puzzlewood and Clearwell with their ancient caves, and Ross on Wye, with its timbered Tudor houses, shops and restaurants. This pretty annexe for two is situated at the head of a peaceful, private lane with views onto the established gardens. Step inside to the spacious entrance hall where you will have access to a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink. There is a separate WC and a spacious storage cupboard for boots and coats. Continue across the hallway into the main living space where you can relax after a day of exploring. The lounge/diner offers comfortable seating with a Smart TV and a small table for two. The kitchen area is well equipped with a gas oven and hob, microwave and fridge with an ice compartment. And when the day is done there is a bedroom that enjoys views onto the gardens with a king size zip and link (that can be made into 2ft 6" twin beds on request), and there is an en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Outside, there are gardens to the rear of the cottage where you can sit end relax, and enjoy the afternoon sun. There is off road parking for one car and bike storage.
