About the property
Nestled in a peaceful valley on the edge of Exmoor's North Devon coast and one of six holiday homes on the site, Turnstone Cottage provides a cosy retreat for couples. The interior is homely, yet stylish with plenty of space to relax and socialise, while the private hot tub is perfectly placed to enjoy views over the valley. Should you wish to explore the area, the estate offers many facilities, or you can explore a selection of stunning beaches, including Barricane Beach and Woolacombe.
The space
This delightful stone cottage is located in a courtyard with two other cottages and the shared indoor swimming pool.
Step through the stable door and into the open-plan kitchen/dining/living room. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the essentials including an electric oven, an induction hob, a fridge and freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher. Meanwhile, the dining table provides the perfect setting to enjoy meals together or chat about your day.
The elegantly designed living room is a particularly cosy space with two comfortable sofas, a wood-burning stove and a Smart TV, while the views of the valley are quite spectacular.
Upstairs, there is one beautifully decorated king-size bedroom and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
The outdoor terrace is complete with garden furniture, a BBQ, a chimenea and a hot tub with enchanting views over the animal enclosure and beyond.

The grounds
There are 16 acres of stunning grounds to explore along with dog walking fields. Amble through the meadows and stop off at the kitchen garden and greenhouse to choose a little something to go with your delicious alfresco lunch.
The grounds also provide a combined 5-aside football pitch, a badminton and grass tennis court, croquet, boules, cricket and a putt golf course.
Swimming pool and games room
Take a dip in the indoor heated swimming pool or head to the games room for a game of table tennis or table football.
On-site activities
Discover The Lookout for some relaxation, practice yoga on the mats provided and enjoy the estate's stunning viewpoint. Or you can enjoy a fun aqua aerobics session in the heated swimming pool.
Farm animals
There are over 50 animals on-site to visit including chickens, alpacas, goats, sheep and piglets.
Guest access
The owners will greet you on arrival and show you into the property.
Sustainability

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.
Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.
Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

Located in Ilfracombe, this apartment is in a rural area and near the beach. Arlington Court and Arlington Court are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at South West Coast Path Section 4 Trailhead and South West Coast Path Section 3 Trailhead. Traveling with kids? Consider Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Watermouth Castle. Explore all the area has to offer with cycling and hiking.
