The site is exclusively reserved for pod and cabin guests, ensuring a peaceful retreat free from day visitors, and it is strictly adults-only, with no pets allowed.
While the Ladybird Pod provides bedding, guests are responsible for bringing their own towels and toiletries. The toilet and wetroom facilities are located approximately 60 meters from the pod, as is the designated car parking area. Visitors should be prepared to carry their belongings from the car park to the pod, as driving on the grass is prohibited. Smoking is not allowed inside the pods, but guests can smoke outside using a glass or metal container, with proper disposal in the provided commercial bins.
The Lily Pad Pod, another glamping option, shares similar features with the Ladybird Pod, including access to fishing spots along the lake. Guests are encouraged to bring their own comfortable chairs or utilize the benches scattered around the area. Barbecues are permitted, provided they are kept away from the pods and grass; communal BBQs are available for use, with the requirement to bring charcoal. The site promotes a serene atmosphere, ideal for relaxation and enjoying nature.
Fishing enthusiasts will find the lake well-stocked with carp, including impressive specimens weighing up to 86 pounds. The fishing rules are strict to maintain the quality of the experience, prohibiting dead rigs, tigernut bait, and keep nets, while requiring sanitized landing nets and barbless hooks. Guests can further explore the natural beauty of the area, including Witham Way Country Park and Havenside Country Park, as well as cultural attractions like the Bubblecar Museum and Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, making it an ideal destination for both relaxation and adventure.
