Just 5.5 miles from the bustling market town of Keswick, treat yourselves to meals out or a date night at the cinema or Theatre by the Lake. Keswick is one of a few places where you can board a boat trip to explore Derwentwater, the closest to you being Low Brandelhow Jetty (3 miles). Wander through a trellised arch, through the garden and up a step and across a bridge to the front door. Once inside, find yourself in the handy hallway where you can store boots and coats after time in the great outdoors. The open plan living area offers somewhere to spend time before and after adventures. Settle on the corner sofa and admire the views or switch on the TV/DVD for a cosy film night by the wood burner effect electric fire. Cook up a feast in the kitchen area which has an electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, a microwave and a dishwasher. Enjoy your meals at the dining table which sits by the window.
