Hop on the Coledale Horseshoe walk which heads over the Wainwright Fells and follows a 9.5 mile path for a serious hike rewarded with panoramic views and epic picnic spots. Just 5.5 miles from the bustling market town of Keswick, treat yourselves to meals out or a date night at the cinema or Theatre by the Lake. Keswick is one of a few places where you can board a boat trip to explore Derwentwater, the closest to you being Low Brandelhow Jetty (3 miles). Wander through a trellised arch, through the garden and up a step and across a bridge to the front door. Once inside, find yourself in the handy hallway where you can store boots and coats after time in the great outdoors. The open plan living area offers somewhere to spend time before and after adventures.
