Audlem is a pretty and vibrant canal side village nestled on the most southerly edge of Cheshire, it offers a host of independent shops, eateries and St James church to explore. Take the time to visit Overwater Marina with moorings for over 200 narrow boats less than a mile away via the Shropshire Union Canal towpath accessed from your doorstep. At the weekends and on Bank holidays during the summer a trip boat named The Audlem Lass cruises every half an hour from lock 15 at Moss Hall Bridge to the Marina where there is a cafe serving refreshments and lunches. Open the front door and you will find a welcoming hallway providing space to store your walking boots, then head up the steep stairs to reach the first floor apartment accommodation. The main hallway is spacious and offers lots of character with a dresser displying leaflets with information on the local area. Cook up a hearty breakfast in the kitchen with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, enjoy pretty countryside views from the kitchen window and there is a utility area with a washing machine. Spend evenings relaxing in the lounge/diner, put your feet up in front of the wall mounted Smart TV or enjoy a celebration meal with good company sat next to the big window overlooking the rural grounds. The bedroom is spacious and offers a king size bed with pretty matching furniture and lovely views out onto the fields being grazed by sheep. Bring your bubble bath and a good book to enjoy a long soak at the end of the day. The bathroom offers a bath with hand held shower head and WC. Please note that due to the steep nature of the stairs, this property may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Outside there is a garden with a patio offering seating and lovely views over fields and mature trees, a perfect place to sit and watch the sunset. The owners' friendly horses might even pop their head over the fence to say hello. There is ample off road parking.
