Nestled at the bottom of the owners' garden, the lodge occupies the former site of their garage and features proper vehicular access for guests during their arrival and departure, although parking is not available on-site.

Upon entering Thistle Lodge, guests are greeted by a designated area for storing golf bags and shoes before ascending a beautifully crafted wooden staircase that leads to the studio. The staircase is illuminated by a window at the top, flooding the space with natural light. The studio itself is thoughtfully arranged, featuring a comfortable living area equipped with a sofa, a small table with two chairs, a desk, and a Smart TV mounted on the wall. A large picture window dominates the living area, offering stunning views over the historic gardens that stretch behind the neighboring houses on South Street.

Adjacent to the living area is a well-equipped kitchen that includes a two-ring induction hob, a wall oven, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer, complemented by a convenient boiling water tap at the sink. The bedroom, which lies off the living area, boasts a king-size zip and link bed that can be configured as either a double or two single beds, along with a dressing table and ample storage space. A modern shower room is also accessible from the bedroom, ensuring that the studio provides all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

Visitors should note that the annual Lammas Street Market will take place from August 4th to 10th, 2022, during which only pedestrian access will be permitted to South Street and Thistle Lodge.
