Tay River House is a magnificent estate located in Perthshire, Scotland, nestled along the picturesque banks of the River Tay, with stunning views of Aberfeldy and Loch Tay. Spanning forty acres, the estate features beautifully maintained gardens and expansive grounds, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking luxury and tranquility. Accommodating up to thirteen guests, the house boasts seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, offering a blend of historical charm and modern comfort. Upon entering, guests are enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance, characterized by rich wood paneling, antique furnishings, and ornate fireplaces that echo the grandeur of a bygone era.

The estate's gardens are a standout feature, showcasing a rich tapestry of colors and scents that enhance the surrounding breathtaking landscapes. The ornamental garden, dating back to the 18th century and curated by the late Mr. J Douglas Hutchison, is home to a variety of rare and exotic plants. Additionally, the serene stream garden, designed in 1928 by Ian Lawrie, meanders along the Bolfracks Burn, providing a peaceful escape into nature. Guests can also enjoy leisure activities such as tennis on the estate's private court, making the most of the idyllic setting as the sun sets over the Tay valley.

Steeped in history, Tay River House has witnessed centuries of change, previously owned by the notable Menzies family before becoming part of the Taymouth Castle Estate in the late 18th century. In 2020, new custodians Davide Fregonese and Ivana Todoric took on the responsibility of preserving the estate's legacy while incorporating modern amenities. Their commitment to collaborating with local suppliers allows guests to experience the finest offerings of Scotland, whether for weddings, family gatherings, or special occasions, creating unforgettable memories in a setting that marries history, luxury, and natural beauty.

With its prime location, Tay River House offers guests easy access to the charming town of Aberfeldy, where quaint shops and cultural attractions await exploration. The nearby Loch Tay entices adventurers with opportunities for water sports and scenic hiking trails, ensuring a diverse range of activities for all interests. Whether guests choose to stroll through the meticulously curated gardens, engage in a friendly tennis match, or simply relax amidst the serene countryside, Tay River House serves as an invitation to experience the enchanting splendor of the Scottish Highlands.
