Heather Lea is a newly renovated two-story property located in Woolacombe, Devon, accommodating up to 10 guests across its five bedrooms. The house, completed in 2019, boasts stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the sea, and is conveniently situated within walking distance of the village's amenities, including restaurants, pubs, shops, and the beach. This makes it an ideal base for exploring the beautiful North Devon coastline and countryside. The ground floor features a double en suite bedroom, a king bedroom (which can be converted to twin beds upon request), a shower room, and a separate WC.
The spacious living area includes comfortable seating, a 42" TV with a DVD player, and a flame-effect fire for colder seasons, creating a cozy atmosphere. An additional snug room provides a perfect retreat for reading or enjoying music via a Bluetooth speaker. The L-shaped dining room, which seats 10, leads to a well-equipped kitchen featuring a 7-ring gas hob and all necessary appliances for meal preparation. On the first floor, guests will find three more bedrooms, including a king with an en suite, a twin (also convertible to a super king), and a double with an en suite. A separate family bathroom and another WC add convenience for larger groups.
Outside, Heather Lea offers ample private parking for up to five cars, along with a grassy area equipped with a rotary line for drying clothes. A cold tap is available for rinsing off after a day at the beach. The south-facing patio area is perfect for outdoor dining, featuring a wooden table and chairs for 10, ideal for enjoying sunsets with a glass of wine. The nearest beach is less than a mile away, easily accessible without the need for a car, and Woolacombe village is just 300 yards away, providing a variety of family-friendly dining options. For more choices, a short drive leads to the village of Mortehoe, known for its tasty home-cooked meals.
Heather Lea is pet-friendly, allowing one pet by prior arrangement, with an additional charge applicable. Smoking is not permitted on the premises. The property is equipped with modern amenities, including Wi-Fi, a Tassimo coffee machine, and gas central heating. Bed linen, towels, a highchair, and a travel cot are provided for guests' convenience. Heather Lea can also be booked as a two-bedroom ground-floor apartment during off-peak seasons.
